Kingfisher on perch

I struggled with the classification on this but I think this is the proper category.    The picture was taken early morning. It was quite foggy and there was a kingfisher sitting on a pole at the center of the lake.  The picture was very high key overexposed.  I pushed de hazing and contrast and it brought out the bird and some of barely noticeable reflections of the trees. Created a very zen like image.  Feedback is always appreciated! Ry

Love this. Your processing is great and the result is a very unusual and compelling image.
I'd suggest moving the kf off-center a bit and re-frame  little. I know this is at quite a distance, so it may not be possible.
terrific image!

This is really interesting Ry. I agree with Sandy that this would be a more powerful image if the kingfisher were more to the right in the frame. Cool shot.

Ry, this is an interesting image. I like the graphic nature of the background, but I'm not so sure about the halo effect around the bird. Also, there are a few hard edges around the bird that look like a rectangular marquee was copied. There is a straight line to the left of the bird, and a stair-step pattern below it to the right. With a little cloning, you could minimize that effect.
