My son and I went on a surfing trip to El Salvador few years back. First night we stayed in a small fishing shack on the Pacific coast. This was the scene we woke up to.There were a lot of clouds and fog that morning. The sky was nondescript and the exposure was off, but there was a wonderful soft glow on the water. So years later I have taken the liberty idealize it a bit by painting in the sky along with some additional alterations to recreate a picture as my senses remembered it.

Thanks for the explanation, Ry. This is marvelous, with the sky looking almost opalescent. You did a great job of painting, and I like the title too. Must have been a great trip!!

Ry: Beautiful scene superbly rendered. I'm curious how this could be sunrise on the Pacific coast but perhaps that's also part of the Photo Art enlightened. very nicely done.>=))>
