What a beautiful animal, and your photo (especially large veresion) really emphasizes just how beautiful. Great techs, pose and setting. That large branch on upper right looks like it has eyes and is looking at you. You emphasize that he is a male. Is it rare to seem males in such a pose or just too see them at all?

The leopard’s powerful body framed by the massive tree limbs makes for a riveting photo!

I have the same question as Jim: why do you emphasize that it is a male?
The large image is a real treat, with so much detail and texture.  Even with that bright sky, you did great with this.

In our experience Male Leopards are generally fairly shy and although they are seen they do not often pose this well.

Thanks for answering our question about male leopards, Ken.  I am totally unfamiliar with leopards, especially considering I live in Alaska!!
