Normally I don’t shoot at ISO 3200, and as a rule I don’t shoot from hides. In view if the prevailing sub zero weather, I chose to take this shot from inside our living room through the double-glazed window.  In this composition I feel that the reddish colored twig is a worthwhile inclusion – the color compliments that of the red tail and its orientation is in line with the beak.
Thanks for viewing
Your crits and nits are most welcome

The nice detail shows up well in the larger version. I would not have know it was from a window if you hadn't mentioned in.

Your windows must be much cleaner and newer than ours!
Sweet pose, fine detail, and nice BG. Moving the bird to the left a bit - off-center - would add some interest.
Fine shot!

Very cool, David.  The darker face works perfectly in the larger version.  Superb detail-the iso3200 worked just fine.
