This picture was taken as the sun was rising in Aransas Tx.  I exposed for the sky which silhouetted the tree, showing off its twisted branches.  Thanks in advance for feedback!  Ry
PS  I havee updated the image in B&W as suggested

Great sky indeed. Would consider cloning or burn the bright orange things at the bottom right and left.  Those clouds are really the best and you reacted well to the situation.  Like the silhouetted idea.

The sky is indeed the center of the image. Beautiful colors and shapes. The thing that I see is that my eye does not know whether to make the silhouette or go to the sky.  I think I might crop the image up closer to the silhouette.

Ry, That sky is super cool with all those wonderful clouds and I like the comp with silhouetted trees. I agree with Harry that cloning the brighter orange things might make it even better. Very nice!

Great sky, Ry. The clouds have nice tonality and the blue looks great. I agee with cropping the foreground closer to the twisty tree.

Ry: love the exposure for the clouds and how doing so silhouetted the gnarled branches of the tree. A minor nit would be to clone out the bright orange object in the lower right. Richard

You have a great bg for the silhouette. The tension of those gnarly limbs is complemented well by the mackerel sky. Other than cloning out the red object there is little to suggest. Thanks for sharing.

Agree with the others comments. I would really like to see a B&W processing of this image, with those wonderful clouds and tree silhouettes, this could make a very dramatic B&W image as well...

Beautiful sky Ry.  I really like the silhouette fo the tree also. You may wish to clone out the little bits of color along the very bottom?  The B&W rendition is really nice.
