My first visit this year to the Dallas rookery. The rookery is on the campus of the University of Texas Southwest Medical Center in downtown Dallas. The rookery is truly an amazing place in the middle of the city. It is only a few acres in size, but some years there are as many as four thousands nests of a variety of birds, such as Great Egrets, Snowy Egrets, Black Crowned Night Herons, White Ibis, Anhinga, Little Blue Herons and Cattle Egrets.  Processed with Lightroom, Photoshop and Lightzone. Comments and critiques welcome.

Excellent job on the exposure and detail.  I like the wing position and way you composed the image.  This place sounds like an exceptional venue for bird photography.

A beautiful flight image with nice exposure control on whites and great detail, wish there was a bit space between the head and left wing.

Nice flight shot Jerry and the stick is a bonus. Whites look good and have sharp detail but the sky seems a little dull or flat. Maybe brighten it a bit or select it and bring the whites up some and see what you think.  This does sound like a cool place.
