Keeping an Eye on Me

I took this image early this morning of a Brown Pelican in La Jolla, California.  He was resting...but not quite, even though I was a good distance away from and slightly above him, behind a railing on the sidewalk.  Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, Canon EF500mm f/4L IS II USM, AV exposure, f/7.1 at 1/500th, ISO 2000
