Lichen on Gravestone - I really like old gravestones. This one was taken in Martha's Vineyard this past summer 2017.

Camera info: Fuji XPro-1, 204 mm, F6.7, ISO 200

Norma, I like the mix of engraving and lichen here with both working together in a fine, subtle way.  This is a beauty.

Norma, I really like the floral shapes of the lichen on the gravestone here. I also really like the pale gray colors. They really fit with the somber mood of the scene. This is a fascinating photo.

This is wonderful, Norma. I really like the way the lichen has grown over the face and lent a historical feeling to the gravestone. Nature's embellishments add a sense of age. Great find, and I like the comp and colors too.
