Good looking view at a well captured chaos. The comp works well for me. It might be fun to convert this to B&W and play with bumping the contrast. This works great as presented, but it is entertaining to experiment and see where it leads.

Lots of interesting patterns in the branches. I agree with Harley's comment about experimenting with different levels of contrast.

Tangled indeed.  Nothing like the fresh snow to bring out the textures and forms of the branches. The intersecting branches from each side bring some organization to the scene.

This is pretty "tangled", but upon viewing the large version, all the diagonal lines do place more order into this composition than I expected. I agree with the other's comments about boosting contrast and converting to B&W, this would be a perfect subject for that. It might lead to something that has more impact than the color version.

I was out walking in this, Ronald.  It was a great "storm" to be out in, quietly falling snow, heavily coated branches and no wind.  Very peaceful.  This captures the look of the woods nicely.
