Florida Fawn

Taken at St. Andrews State Park in Panama City beach, Florida.  They have quite a large White-Tailed deer population and are very acclimated to humans. This cutey approached me from 20 yards away and walked right toward me and then passed me like I wasn't there.  Not sure what it's picking up?  There are signs all over the park saying not to feed the wildlife, but you gotta wonder!

Thanks for looking, comments & suggestions are always appreciated!

This is such a sweet shot Steve. I love the lighting, I love the setting, I love the detail and the pose of the fawn. No nits from me. Nice shot.  If anything, you might provide an alternative shot with more of the surroundings, but not needed here.

This is truly a subject with a high cuteness factor.  I like the view of the spots.  Bits of green show emerging Spring and the warm lighting is quite pleasing.  The hair on this fawn seems slightly "crispy" which to me suggests that the unsharp mask is a wee bit strong and it is an easy and subtle tweak to tone that back a touch.

Thanks for the comment Lon.  As soon as I posted and reviewed it I thought the same thing. I have already made an adjustment to the sharpening.
