This little fella hitched a ride on my sleeve, after I hunched down to take a photograph of a different critter in my garden.  I came inside, and he hopped off onto my granite countertop.  At which point, I swung my closeup lens around and started taking "his" portrait sad.   A pretty hairy looking fella! frown

These little jumping spiders are amazingly cute and photogenic, Lucy.  This is a great look, showing it's main eyes, the iridescent palps, and the hairy legs beautifully.

I love those green chompers Lucy.  Nice DOF on the eyes and teeth.  My grandma what big eyes you have, my grandma what big teeth you have... reminds of something I read a long time ago.

Yikes! Lucy ... what kind of spider is it? I love those green fangs and eyes. Your focus appears to be right on the fangs.  I think the green really pulls you in to take a better look.
