Sony A77II - Illustration Mode
Sony 70-400G @ 90mm
ISO 400, 1/500 @ f16
Made my first trip to White Sands NM last week and liked what the Illustration Mode did to the ripples in the sand and the yucca leaves. All comments welcome. Please view large.>=))>

I like the effect on the ripples and the Yucca.  My only nit would be the dark line at the top of the sand.

You know the effect of the illustration mode is a favorite of mine, but in this case it gives a little too much information/detail.  I like the composition, subject and the direction of the light.  Whether its my eyes or everyone's eyes, the lines seem to be moving slightly and it makes me uncomfortable to view for any length of time.

This is cool, Bill.  I took some very similar shots in conventionalmode when I was there in December, and I like the feel this  gives to the image.
