White Sands National Monument
I love dunes of all sorts so visiting White Sands was a real treat. Besides the dunes themselves I'm also fascinated by the vegetation that clings to what appears to be a pretty desolate and inhospitable environment. Please view large. All comments welcome.>=))>

I like the diagonal lines in the composition as well as the interplay of light and shadow.  I'm not so sure about the out of focus foreground, though.  I'm sure it would have required focus stacking to get it in focus though.  That aside, this is still nicely done!

The subtle tone differences, especially in the brighter dune look great.  The distant dune at the top is a fine contrast in tonality and texture.  The vegetation is well placed.

Nice one! I like the differences in tone and angle. The ripples. And yes, the vegatation. The only little nit would be the OOF sand 7n the FG, but that doesn't bother me much, as I am too focused on those lovely ripples.
