We have some incredibly wonderful storms here on the Oregon coast.
Taken from our front deck.
For reference, the light at the end of the jetty is 12 feet tall.

Very striking shot Sandy.  I love it.  I would be tempted to clone out the man made structures in the middle since they draw my eye there.

Helluva storm surge and "striking" lightning.  So much drama here, Sandy, and crazy good lightning capture, excellent.

Sandy, that is one mean looking storm. Everything about this shows the incredible power of nature. Excellent!

I love the power and drama in this image, Sandy. The clouds and dark sky with the lightning strike are very ominous looking. Great work here.

Excellent, Sandy! Very dynamic, great light and a real high impact scene. Outstanding sky, light and fury of the sea all come together extremely well.

Sandy: Much of my time in Oregon has been in the summers and in November so I've missed out on some of these winter storms. I can't recall ever experiencing a thunderstorm so this is 4+ awesome for me. Fabulous capture of a fantastic moment.>=))>

Congrats on WP Sandy. This is really impressive. I really like the light and color dynamics here.  It almost seems like a B&W fade into Color from one side of the frame to the other.  This is really unique and powerful.
