One good that seems to have come from our rough winter is that the amaryllis and day lilies are thriving. We've had far more good amaryllis blooms this spring and the buds on the day lilies are burgeoning. This is the first bud that will bloom tomorrow with the promise of a lot more to come. Bill - Beautiful colour combination here - the graduated greens really make the purple bud "pop".

Since I am going backwards through here, I am looking at this starting with the bloom back to the bud. I like both equally for different reasons. This is like a promise, the other like a promise fulfilled. A worthwhile continuity. Just as all God's promises are!
