Yellow Wagtail

Yesterday I went back to the Yellow Wagtail - to see if I could frame it with some contrasting colors. The Hyacinths were almost passed their best, but still managed for a nice setting. Shooting with flower smells all around is a treat .. The BG is another color of Hyacinths by the way.

Yes the color combinations work very well here. Nice detail and color on the bird. Very effective depth of field.

The hyacinths really work with the yellow of the Wagtail, Hans. Beautiful image.

Fantastic colors here Hans, this is a wonderful shot. I might be tempted to crop a sliver of the out of focus foreground off and make it more of a pano. devil
