One last snow and ice image before spring...
Yellowstone
For perspective, some of those icicles are 25 feet long.

I have looked at this for a while. There are things I lke about it, the cold feeling and the contrast between the ice and the rocks. But something seemed off balance to me. When I moved my screen so that it was cropped about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way from the top of the image to the top of the Ice it seemed more balance to me. Probably just the way I look at things.

Interesting to see long icicles seemingly hanging from the tree.  I would agree with Richard about a 1/2  top crop, and also a minute CW rotation so the icicles appear vertical

This is a nice winter scene, Sandy.  I think your composition works well here.  The surrounding trees frame the ice formation well and provide some nice tonal contrast as well.  Nice work!

Strong image.  I initially saw it as a good but standard icicle image, but then recognized the trees. Wow.  I agree though with the slight rotation and maybe a tiny bit of crop from the top
