Ladybug With Lunch

I just went out this morning and checked a field of peas near our house, and saw there were quite a few ladybugs, which I love.  I took a few on the plants, but got this one down on the ground.  After pulling it up on the screen did I discover that she had a bug/spider or something in her mouth!  I was delighted with that bonus.  I decided to crop it more of a pano view, to give more attention to her and her lunch.  Taken with Canon 5D Mark II, Canon 100 mm L macro lens, with K-800X twin flash and homemade diffuser.  Handheld at f16, 1/250, ISO 200.  Edited in Lightroom and NIK.  Comments and suggestions welcome.

Shirley, this image has a fine "up close and personal" sense with the sharp grains of sand, the ladybug and it's prey, and that "monster" stick coming down from above.  A fine bit of macro work.

Shirley, a very fine macro take on this gentle creature. What's not to like about a lady bug, eh?
The only thought for possible change from my perspective is fine tune some of the glare maybe. No big issue.  I usually monkey around with "gamma" in the exposure command. But, that is all subjective and experimental to your own appeal.
A neat take of a friendly critter......laugh
