"These are a few of my favorite things"

This is a beautiful scene. The composition is nice as are the colors. This has that refreshing feel that only rain seems to bring.

Nicely done, Michael. I like how the blooms are framed, and the delightful detail of the droplets and pads in the lower portion. As an option I would have tried getting more of the frame in focus, but without knowing the camera, the focal length and especially aperture, that's difficult to assess.

Thanks for the comments. Bill, you'rre absolutely right about the DOF. This was taken back when I was just getting into digital photography and didn't know anything about checking for focus on the rear lcd. I shot @ f/16 and just assumed that was adequate. Guess I wasn't focused far enough into the scene.

Michael a lovely collection of lily blooms, pads, and raindrops.  Very refreshing.

Lovely and refreshing. I don't mind at all the lack of dof. Nice colors and comp.

This is really beautiful Michael.  Nicely composed, and it just has a fresh, very clean look all around.

The large version is a must to really appreciate the details in this image, Mike. The overcast lighting is perfect for showcasing all those water drops scattered about on the lily pads along with the flowers. I also like the water tension around some of the edges of the pads. Yes a little more DOF would be nice, but it certainly is not a deal breaker for me. Maybe we can get back up there when they are in bloom and you can try your hand again. Beautiful job on this.
