One of my favourite francolins, rarely seen in the open.
Taken in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe.

Mine too. Nice open view, Ken. Not sure I've ever seen one out of the grass, so I appreciate the road allowing for the full look at the body.

Nice view of this beauty, Ken, and a good frame with the roadside grasses. I don't know the bird or location, but this feels like it has a slightly blue color cast.
