Butterfield Stage

This is a stop on the old Butterfield Stage in the Guadalupe Mountains National Park of West Texas.  It was getting late in the day with the sun getting low over the mountains to the west. Canon 5Diii, f20, 1/30 sec, iso 100, -0.7 EV, 24-105 ISL at 32 mm.  Thanks for your suggestions and comments.

I decided to move this over to the POP gallery since it is a historic place.

Ed, this has a connection for me as I lived within 1 mile of an old Butterfield Stage Line station when I was a kid. It too had a similar looking type structure or other corral arrangements. My brothers and I actually found an old copper 2 cent piece among the grounds. The town newspaper we grew up with was the Butterfield Express newspaper. The route near us was through Reche Canyon leading into the San Bernardino stage and train stations back then. Thanks for sharing.

Ed: there is a soft and pastel like quality to this photo especially when viewed large. Nice!
