It looks as if the tree is hugging the cactus. Was out doing bird photography with a long lens, so I took this with an I-phone. Taken in Sabino Canyon, East of Tucson.

Ouch! A good look at a fun find, Allen. I like how the tangle of branches fills the sky and creates a strong sense of being there.

Sabino Canyon! What a great place to explore.

Terrific job of seeing this and framing such that you've captured some order from chaos. The title/story is quiet clear here and despite the messy tree branches, they do well in framing the main subject. And I like the blue sky as well for some additional color and order.

Nicely seen and captured.

This image tells a nice ecological story. We see cactus growing from under mesquite quite often in Baja California. The image has a bit of a gritty look that often comes from oversharpening. I would dial it back a tad.
