Pink Flower Seed

Three weeks back, I had posed an image of a "PINK " flower. A tree in the wild was in bloom, and hundreds of honey bees on them. I had been to the same place today and checked out the tree. The flowers had withered off, and the tree was full of these seed pods. I found this quite interesting, and made this image in partial backlight. The monsoons have set in , and was very cloudy.

Here is the link to that flower image. << LINK >>

Nice color and detail on the main pod Balan.  I would consider cloning out the lowest seed pod on the bottom center.  I really like the smoky looking BG.

Balan: Cool subject and a fine capture. I think I would like a bit more room on the bottom and cloning away the OOF pod on the bottom edge would work for me too. >=))>

I will third the lower pod to disappear. I think I would tone town the smoky Bg, just a bit. I like it, but it seems a bit bold to me.

The green and red color combo stands out well here, Balan.  Your positioning of the main subject lets it stand out well.  I could see burning in that green seed head and it's stem in the bottom center to reduce how much attention it gets.
