Fields of Dreams

Hi Folks,
This is, I think, my next to last image from the recent Palouse trip.  I hope I am not posting too many and wearing out my welcome.  As I return to working in color, I'm feeling, shall we say, a little needy for feedback.  The late planting season this year has led to some lovely color variations, and apparently, there is a high demand/price for garbanzos and some other new crops in the region, which have different schedules.  I loved the purplish color of the mid-field here.  I believe it is just the color of the earth, some reflective light, and the contrast with the greens. I did not do much to it.

As always, I'm eager for feedback and suggestions on additional processing or different crops, others sets of eyes on the perimeter, etc.

Like it.  The various shades of color and contours gives it a very dynamic look.  Also has an abstract quality to it.  Nicely done.

Color, it seems to me, has a big subjective component. I like the tonality and perhaps even the composition more than the previous one. But I prefer the warmer tones of the other one. Also, the light is flatter here. I would play with luminosity in the more distant layers.

This may not be a good gallery for a lot of feedback. Perhaps the landscape gallery? Although things have gotten much more dormant there recently.

Thanks for sharing.
