This photo captures the last quiet moment before the adult regurgitated food at the bottom of the nest. Pandemonium followed. I liked the beseeching pose of the 4 chicks and having a clear view of all their heads. Even though I used The Force, the adult would not turn around. Nikon D-500 and Sigma 150-600 lens at f/9, 1/2000 and ISO 640. Cropped to portrait orientation. Richard

Interesting behavioral image.  You did well to get 4 of 5 with decent poses.  I like it.

Great image, Richard.  I actually like the adult turned away.  It adds a touch of humor to the image.  Getting all the youngsters with good eyes is quite an achievement.  With all those uptilted heads, you might look at taking some off the bottom and possibly adding a touch more sky.

Really nice poses to get a clear shot of all the heads. As usual they are always hungry. Good work, Richard.

I think you did great to catch all four of the chicks somewhat looking your way Richard.  I love those stand up hairdoos. Yikes what a nest full.  I can't imaging trying to keep up with all those hungry mouths.
