Cape Buffalo

These two Cape Buffalo were sharing a bed of grass in the setting sun on the Chobe River in Botswana, where I photographed last month,Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, Canon EF500mm f/4L IS II USM, manual exposure, f/6.3 at 1/400th, ISO 2000.

I like everything about this image. The light is great, a nice golden glow, the position of the 2 buffalo drinking, as well as the OOF one in the BG. Details are great, all those flying bugs around the buffalo. Thanks for sharing.

I really like this intimate shot of these two Buffalo, Charles! The light is excellent and they are both very sharp with great eye detail. Very nicely captured!
