Taken at my blind pond.  It was coming through the mossy area at the far end of the pond.

7Dii, Sigma 150-600 C @ 600 mm, tripod with ball head and Sidekick, f/8, 1/320, iso 1600, aperture priority, pattern metering, -1 EV.  Processed in LR & PS CC.  Cropped to a 12.6 MP 4x5.  Cleaned up some bright debris.  Taken on July 4th at 9:18 am.

Your comments and critiques are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Beautiful little bird, Dennis, and you captured it so well.  Such detail in the feathers.  I love the setting you have, making it so natural looking.  I like that his head is turned.

Hi Dennis,

I like the head turn and the size of the bird within the frame.  An avian macro so to speak. Well done..................Jim
