Just 2 Rocks

I did not have an image with lots of rocks so to participate in this weeks challenge I will submit the only rock image I have "Just 2 Rocks". Taken after a nor'easter storm off Plum Island in Massachusetts this past winter. The purple sand was stirred up and made for a nice design near the rocks. The purple is caused by garnet crystals.  I like their square shapes.

A nice composition. A nice color palette.

I'd say that sand qualifies as very tiny rocks, Norma.  Since the image is clearly about the two rocks, it fits well even without the sand definition.  This is a fine semi-abstract, with the two very differently colored rocks and the interesting and well placed purple sand.

Lots to like here, Norma. For me I think this begs for a vertical composition to better emphasize the strong vertical presentation.
