Cool shot, Richard. I'm surprised there are not more comments on it. I love the stormy distance and two kayakers heading out nonetheless. It presents a nice story. I especially like the micro turbulence in the wake of the kayak in contrast to the major turbulence ahead.

Moody and very effective image - the water swirls and great cloud swirls are mesmerizing, and the touches of colour add a lot of interest.
Well-done!

Beautiful work, Richard. I can see this on a cover of an outdoor adventure magazine.

Wonderful action shot with lots of mood. Love the dark, foreboding look with the addition of the bright colors on the kayaks. Hard to imagine starting out in a boat with that kind of weather. The sky is marvelous and dramatic.

Beautiful work, Richard. I like the little splash of color with the kayaks and those drama laden clouds set the scene for me. Congrats on the WP.
