Great Horned Owlet

Found this guy along with a sibling and both of their parents in a barn in the Southern Cascades. The red on the ceiling is from the intense sunlight leaking through the cracks. D500, Sigma 150-600 @ 440, 1/30, f6.3, ISO 1600. Thanks for looking and for any critique you might have.

Hi Jim,

No nits from me. The comp and pose of the GHO baby make this a very nice image. Well done................................Jim

Excellent shot and framing, Jim. The exposure is perfect and the direct stare from this youngster is great. Well done.

Jim, Really nice image of this youngster.
I'd suggest saturating those yellow eyes a bit more, and straightening the image so the vertical board on the right, and the owl, are straight.
Congrats on a nice WP!
