This was taken about 6:30 am yesterday. This statue is entitled "Dignity" and is located at the I-90 rest area at the Chamberlain, SD over looking the Missouri River. It is very impressive. We were on our way home from a wedding in Sioux Falls and stopped to eat our breakfast here. Please see large image. Thanks for your comments and critiques.

Beautiful light and clouds to showcase this impressive statue. Very enjoyable image.

Very lovely - love the sunrise BG and perfect perspective..
To me, the statue is a tad dark; lighting it up a touch with the shadow slider might work well.
Still, as is, very stunning.

Impressive! The sunrise is quietly magnificent. The dominance of the statue and the dignity of the stance is stunning. I would be tempted to lighten the shadows on the front of the statue a small amount, as Sandy suggested; but if it didn't work, I would discard the attempt, print it large, frame it well and hang it on my wall in a prominent place!

I think I have seen a picture of this statue somewhere. Isn't it all metallic?
