Hi Norma

Nice picture of these coneflowers.  I like the partially in focus effect and the background sets the yellow flowers off nicely.

Just some little suggestions.  You might want to up the exposure a bit.  If you work in lightroom, try upping the highlights and/or the whites.  It seems like the flower could be a little brighter.  The OOF flower in the upper left - you might want to just take it out.  If it was mine, I would be tempted to try, since it touches your prime subject.

Norma, I like this pretty much as is. The only suggestions I have is to brighten up the main flower about ten percent and reduce the midtone brightness of the BG to somewhere between 89% to 93% of the current brightness. An easy fix if you separate the BG from the subject using levels on the BG layer.

Norma: Yes you might brighten the flower a bit but I agree with Phil that this works well as is. From a composition viewpoint I would actually like the upper OOF bloom to have a touch more room. A slightly wider angle would suit me a little better. Really good DOF/POF choice and the BG is wonderful. 2 thumbs up!.>=))>

Beautiful angle, composition and contrasting colors. Very well deserved.

Congratulations, Norma on this winning EP!  I missed seeing this on when you posted it.  Been off more than on NPN lately.  Hoping to do better.  Nice image.
