I think this is considered a Tri-Color.  If not, maybe someone can correct me on it.  I shot this handheld at Huntington Beach State Park, SC last week with my Canon 7D Mark II, Canon 100-400mm L lens at f6.3, 1/800, ISO 400, at 400mm.  I edited it in Lightroom and NIK.  Full frame, no cropping needed.  Comments and suggestions welcome.

Hello Shirly, I'd go for Tri-colored as well. Nice pose and reflection and the hint of vegetation adds an all-natural feel to the image ! Cheers, Hans

Shirley, lucky to find a tri-color! Up here they are very hard to come by especially since migration has begun. I love the reflection. The calmness of the water gives a mirror like rendition. The colors here are very beautiful. The portrait frame choice is a good one. Nice image all around.

Shirley, this is top notch, the pose, the color and the great surroundings. It certainly is a Tri-color,  a juvenile transitioning to adult. Full frame? Wow, you hit the jackpot with this, and I wouldn't change a thing, among your best I'd say.

Very good, Shirley.  I like the slightly awkward looking pose and you caught a great reflection.

Nicely done Shiley, I like your placement of the bird in the frame and the reflection. devil
