I had never seen anything like this before spiderwebs hanging from trees everywhere I looked in the western mountains of Maine.

The lack of most of the support twigs above makes this an enjoyably-confusing image. In fact, I might clone or crop away that one twig up top (and maybe even the oof one) to complete the illusion. Nicely done.
