Photographed a few weeks ago, playing around with converters and extentiontubes. Really hard to get the right DOF and still good shutterspeeds. Fortunately this came out quite well. The pond was full of frogspawn and I wanted to include it in the shot.

Canon EOS10D
Canon EF300/2.8L USM + EF1.4 + extentiontubes
Canon 550EX (@ -1 2/3)
1/40 @ f/8.0 (manual exposure)
ISO400, RAW
G1228, M10, Sidekick

Jasper, I like the image and also the expression of the faces of the frogs... (they look happy  ). From composition point of view, I would crop a bit from the left hand site.

Good job Jasper! I really like it: nice behavioral shot, good context with he spawn that you included, good use of flash (not too strong).
Congrats, well done. :toast:

Great shot - splendid focus - and you really highlighed the metallic coloring. The frogs' eggs in the foreground makes this shot about family, and that's very powerful.
