This is an Enoplognatha ovata - a comb-footed spider inside pink striped spathe of an Arisaema candidissimum.

You've done a wonderful job of keeping the entire spider sharp, and most of the flower as well, thereby capturing an exceptional wealth of detail. It's a pity the spider's head is down, and therefore somewhat out of the light, but, other than that, a great shot.

Hans,
Excellent detail. I love the sparkles on the petal and the almost translucency of the spider's legs.

A nice image overall, but the specular hilights from the flash are distracting to me.

Best Regards,
