Copper or streak or copper streak - help? Anyhow, 20D, tamron 2xtc, canon 100mm, 1/250, f26, iso100, -2 FEC, so must have been dual flash on brackets (sigma 500dg & canon 420ex as slave), handheld. Cropped from 8 to about 5 megapixels.

Nice shot of an American Copper! I get these and Bronze Coppers (quite similar) in my backyard and they are both a joy to photograph. They both seem to leave eggs on curly dock, so if you leave some weedy patches alone you'll see them all summer.

The flashwork is real nice and not obvious at all.
