These are small shell fish who cover their shells with their mantle. I have been to Cayman Brac Island three times over several years This time I saw many, before I noticed none while I was diving, but one showed up in a photograph which I had not noticed while shooting. Shot with an Olympus 8080 in an Oly housing. Great combo at a lower price than most u/w systems. I am still in the learning curve.

Nice shot, Steve! I like the way this flamingo tongue stands out from the BG. Sharp details and great color, too.
I just returned from St. Thomas, Dominica & Barbados. Did some snorkeling shots with the Canon S1 IS in the DC20 housing (which leaked and fried the camera...already sent to Canon for repairs). Also shot some decent shots with the Pentax WP(waterproof to 5 meters). Lots of fun, so I'm jealous of your deeper water shots!

Terri,
The system I used is the Olympus 8080 and the Olympus housing. I would like to get external flashes. If you decide on this system you can take the front dome off and remove the flash diffuser. I did not and the airline gorillas broke it off. It was inside a hard pelican case, with my dive suit wrapped around it for padding. So, now that I know, I will separate them when I get a replacement. Otherwise, I used duct tape to hold it together while diving. Perhaps it was the tape that helped :jump: :jump: :jump:
