Anasazi Lookout

This is the remains of an Anasazi tower looking over a very rare water supply barely visible below. While waiting for the light to change I discovered a canister of film floating in the water and was able to fish it out using a fallen branch. I though it might be something good but it turned out to be nothing more than an unexposed roll of Wal-Mart's finest 400 speed, 24 exposure, negative film. :jump:

Adam,

the colors, the technical execution looks very nice to me. I do not know the location, but I wounder if you could have photograph a bit less tight. I wish, i.e. that the tower top would have been visible.

This is beautiful Adam. The colors are incredibly crisp and distinct, and it's razor sharp. Wonderful comp as comp. No nits at all. Great job! This reminds me of some Joseph Holmes color work.

Nice one Adam. I really like the colors you have here. The reds are of course beautiful but the greens and blues in the trees below are very nice. I kind of find myself what is further above the rock wall.

There wasn't much more of the wall to shoot and I wanted to eliminate the sky from the composition to give the image a confined look and feel. Now if there had been more cliff to shoot I may have pulled back a little. Thanks for commenting. :wavey:

Funny story, Adam. And this is a nice image. I like the balance of tree and tower.

Cheers,

This is really nice Adam. I think you chose a good angle to get the ruins and the surrounding environment all in the frame. Sweet color tones and light.

This is a truly great shot, and one I haven't seen before. Great depth, great color, and great composition.
