More Orton Flowers - WC215

I used orton combined with a watercolor filter to do this photo. I used curves to bring the dark bg black, did a little cloning on a few stems left, and then orton, and then watercolor. I've been doing so much high key I decided it was time for a change.
Jim, this was a fantastic exercise in using orton, just seeing how everyone applied it. Great idea for a WC.

Beautiful Renae, and what a great idea to combine the watercolor filter and the Orton Technique. Sure worked great for this image. Isn't it great to see so many participating in the WC.... I for one think it's great!

The gold and purple colors stand out nicely against the black background, Renae. The combo of the Orton technique and watercolor filter looks great, giving the image a nice painterly appearance. :smile:

Renae, This is a very appealling affect, and that from one who is not big on photo manipulation. The touch of leaves in the ulc really adds to the presentation. Just lovely! :jump:
