A very delicate exposure and a heavy scene. I really love this one Mark. The highlights are wonderful. The light reminds me of a Rembrandt. This is my favorite of yours by far.

I agree with Andy. 20 minutes at f/64? I'm guessing this is a moonlit scene(?)

A very moody shot Mark. The highlights make this one for me too. The boats work really well in this one.

yo guy,

pretty misty, foggy, after the sun went down, but not completely dark, and there was a moon up there somewhere.

20 minutes includes a lot of reciprocity comp, even with type L film.

Very nice Mark. I would be tempted to crop or line up next time to only include the two boats in the center. I'm not sure about including that one in the lower left corner. The light on the boat in the middle is really incredible. Nice work.

Mark,
I love this shot!
Great exposure and composition.
I will second Dave's suggestion on cropping. The elimination of the canoe in the lower left makes this a more powerful image!

Great stuff Mark. This has MOOD written all over it. A really haunting image that speaks SILENCE.

I have found memories of Adirondack Guide boats from my youth. Never been in one since. This one beckons. Rich and evocative -- I agree this is a work of art -- mystery and mood. Beautiful. But yeah, I'd get rid of the chopped off boat in the lower left as well.
