Did he forget his other foot? Looks like he was standing on the post on his left foot and you moved him down in Photoshop but forgot to clone out the other claw on the left side of the post! Nice PS work to move him down and keep it looking natural but it would look better without the dismembered claws on the post! :toast:

Thanks for the comments

Did he get his prey?

Yes, but I lost the catch (the buffer of the 350D was full when he ate the fish) :-/

Did he forget his other foot?

When he flew away he had still both feet so I guess he remebered to took back its foot after the catch :jump:

Seriusly, it is a weird pose but it isn't Photoshopped.

Cool shot Juza! I saw hundreds of them in Bali but never saw them fishing! My only suggestion is that I think, although I am not completely sure, that there is a slight tilt. Other than that excellent shot!

Hi Juza and very nice image indeed the only thing that bothers me is the water is going downhill, the foot on the post is entirely natural as he is using this to be push himself down on to his prey.

Phillip.

Thanks everyone for the comments and suggestions, very appreciated!

Here is a repost. Other than correcting the tilt, I did several general and selective adjustements of contrast and saturation, to get more intense colors and to brighten up (slightly) the eye.
