This is surreal and beautiful. I moved the post to Man and Nature due to the picnic tables.

I framed it just so none of the buildings at Cannon Beach showed but never even considered the picnic tables. The tables add to the shot so Man and Nature is the perfect location. Thanks for the move.

Welcome, Bryan A wonderful first post.I like your rendering of this area as it's different than the usual posts of Cannon Beach. Looks like a bit soft but that could be my monitor. Please post your tech info as well as it helps to know the setup. Yes, I like the picnic tables too.

The full sized image is sharp but doesn't seem to downsize well. Considering the light haze that day, I'm suprised I was able to capture anything useable - infrared seemed to cut through a little better than visible light.
It was taken with a tripod mounted D70s converted for infrared which I like to refer to as my D70sI. I used my Nikkor 70-200mm VR at 90mm, f6.3, 1/200 sec.
I took several more infrareds that day and they are posted on my website. All the visible light shots taken on this trip pale in comparison so I discarded them.
