Arctic foxes drinking

I often get the question if the arctic foxes we photographed weren't disturbed by our activities....well no, otherwise the mother would probably chose another location to feed her cubs. She did this many times and this was one of the nicer settings where she was standing.

Hi Jasper! I love this!!! It's sooo cool to be able to witness moments like this, huh? I have a couple shots of red fox kits nursing as well and Mama also seemed fine with my presence. And I always thanked them (and all other creatures) for letting me witness their activities. I really enjoy your photos! :smile:

I think this is the best of your fox series. It tells me a lot about the behavior, and you can fell the tension of the mother as she scans for danger.
