Fir Forest, Pond and Lupine

This was taken at Mt. Rainier NP in late afternoon. I really liked the "quiet" feel of the scene.

What a breathtaking scene! I speically love those majestic trees in the background. The lupines are a wonderful touch.

The light adds a lot to serene feeling of your photo. And it's strange how peaceful it is, despite complexity of subject matter.
