Hi everyone. I've been a NPN member for over a year so I guess it's about time I got around to posting this member photo. I was able to scoot off to Jasper National Park the other day for some time in the field and finally remembered to take a self portrait. While waiting along the Athabasca river for a break in the clouds I took a few selfs. I asked my wife to pick one out of the series for posting and she said that this one was "definitely" me (still not sure what her stress on the word 'definitely' meant

)

Great group of people here at NPN and I am proud to be a member of the community. Thanks for the sharing and the learning.

Wayne - You nailed it. I have sooooo much fun when I'm out in the field. That's why my wife picked this shot because she thought it represented best me doing what I love to do. The field teaches me that there is no limit to the learning or the joy I get capturing the beauty of the world around us.

Bill - Great to see you too in your new updated member photo. I say don't throw away that cap. It's what we would call in my flying days a "fifty mission" cap. A little Febreeze and you're good to go!

hi there, hey...i think you just missed a black bear chasing a moose behind you! Now they're gone... Gotta concentrate more while in the field!
