I posted a very similar shot in a previous challenge but thought this would work well here. It was fun tracking their progress up the dunes and the light's progress down. All comments appreciated. >=))>

Great Vision for this one. the people on the dune add a lot to the image. I really like it. My only nit is the spot of uneven sand in the upper right. It tends to pull my eye up there. I'd love to have this one in my files and I've been to the Great Sand Dunes many times. Very nice. :smile:

Way to go Bill! Congrats on the EP. :toast: I went right for your purple rendition of the dunes and missed this one altogether. :redface: Man, you fooled me. You're DEEP! :razz:

Love the people in this and the tracks up the face of the dune. Now that puts humankind in the proper perspective with nature-- TINY! The texture in the sand is wonderful as is color with the play of light and shadow over the dune formations. It's just a wonderful comp.
