3 acorns

I was doing some test shots of some oak leaves with lighting from beneath with some acorns set on top. Still need some work on the 'real' image but played in PS and came up with this. What do you think?

Thanks for looking and C & C appreciated.

Bill

This is a neat grainy effect. I'll be looking forward to the "real" image. I like this comp.

Bill, this has a very subtle "illustrative" quality...and by that I mean that I could really see this working as accompanying artwork in the pages of a novel or non-fiction work. I think the comp is equally strong if you rotate 90 degreees CW to vertical, so it has a lot of versatility from that standpoint. Nicely done!

I think it's beautiful Bill! An elegant drawing made with a pencil on white paper, with excellent feathers and details.
Cheers.

Hey, Bill! This is excellent! Congratulations on the EP for it. Looks like an exquisite pencil illustration that you toiled over for a long time. Great idea. The only thing I might suggest is to selectively sharpen the acorns. :toast:
