Bear and its cub - a perspective

I made this image during last weekend at Daroji Bear Sanctuary in India. It was my pleasure to watch a mother carrying two cubs on its back. Made this image using Nikon 600mmf4+tc14e, cropped for composition. Thanks for your views.

Another cool perspective by you Ganesh, I like this. Maybe a bit more DOF would have made the cu's eye a bit sharper. :toast:

Very well seen...too bad the cubs eye isn't tack sharp (probably to shallow DOF).

Hello Ganesh, This is not exactly my thing, but I have to comment anyway because it just strikes me as so skillfully artful. You definitely put a lot of yourself into your delightful work.

Yes Nate. They are sloth bears. Daroji Bear Sanctuary in India is an excellent place to watch them close. There are about 120 bears I was told in the sanctuary. I was told that these bears invade into farm lands near by and create conflict. To reduce this forest department keeps some food like banana etc in some places. They have also set up an hide to watch them. One can see them very close. Here is a thread in another group where friend of mine, Vijay Mohan Raj has answered with an image how close we were to the bears and some interesting experience! Watching Bears
