NPN Addiction Has Drastic Consequences for Terry R. Steele

As my outside work piled up, I came to realize I was spending too much time at my wife’s computer browsing the pages of this website. “No problem,” I said, I’ll just go do some work! But every twenty minutes or so, I ran back in the house, wrestled my wife for the seat in front of the computer and just briefly checked you folks out. When those urges to come back to this site cut in length from 20 minutes to 5, I knew I was addicted!!! I mentioned this to a clever NPN member who spends a lot of time at this website and he implied that he might be addicted too. As he tried to break away, he mentioned that cold turkey kept sticking in his throat. I knew that I, too, had a monkey on my back. I didn’t realize how bad it was until I awoke this morning with my wife, Kay, screaming – “There’s a dang monkey in bed with me!!!” I realize now that my NPN addiction has caused me to d-evolve to the state you see in this image.

However, I must say, that’s one handsome monkey!!!

Canon EOS 20D, 100-300 5.6L, ugly filter (to keep camera from breaking) hand held.

A 6 ft 9" monkey. How tall are you if you include the tail? :jump:

Terry...

Hahaha! Handsome monkey, indeed...what a great reassurance that 'involution' could be a good thing after all!

BTW, I am willing to put together a 12 Step program for all those potential NPN 12-Steppers...you think?????

You are one funny and cr_zy guy!!! Please say hello to your lovely Kay! :wavey:

Great job of cloning your body onto that monkey's head. I sometimes wish for a prehensile tail myself, but dang, that body must take a lot of shampoo.

Pete D. slowly devolving myself, now that you mention it.

Hi Terry,

Clearly, I have been away much too long! Some weird things happening in the Pacific NW...and I was worrying about Big Foot!
In any case, thanks for the great pictures and for keeping s sense of humor throughout.

Francis
PS: Kay is welcome to stay with us on the East Coast any time...if she needs a break from all this monkeying around!

Terry this really made me laugh! I too have struggled with the addiction you have and I work at home but actually I have decided it doesn't hurt my work too much because it means I am at the computer where I should be working instead of out running around in nature or hanging from trees.
